Looking back on one of the most epic surprise proposals we’ve ever captured—this one will forever hold a special place in our hearts. On a crisp, quiet morning at Okemo Mountain Resort, Jonah asked Liv to marry him in the most breathtaking way imaginable. 💍🏔️

We made the 10-hour drive from Pittsburgh to snowy (and very cold) Ludlow, Vermont. We arrived at the resort before sunrise to meet up with Jonah and scout out the perfect spot for his big moment. We layered up, strapped our skis and cameras to our backs, and headed up the mountain in the early light.

Jonah told Liv they’d be doing their first run of the day early—before the crowds hit. He met her and her friends at the lift, with Justin (aka stealth proposal photographer) a few chairs behind them. Once they reached the top, Jonah led Liv over to a lookout and suggested they take a moment to enjoy the view.

That’s when he dropped to one knee. 😭

She was completely surprised and immediately overwhelmed with happy tears (as were we behind the camera, if we’re being honest). These are the moments that make this job so incredibly special.
